Having interacted with both Davin of www.canadianwhisky.org and Matt Colglazier of www.americancraftsprits.com I can plainly say these guys know what they are doing. Both have great passion for their respective "causes" (for a lack of better term). Davin's article on Whistlepig most recently is a must read. Based on the reviews that have come out on Whistlepig, this is exciting stuff and demonstrates just how great Canadian Whisky is. Something Davin already knew quite well.

I love Matt's work because he covers such a wide and diverse range of American craft and artisan distilled products from boutique whiskey's, gin, and vodka. His features on micro distillers amplifies their reach and he wants these guys to succeed. It's better for all of us if they do.

Both of these guys know their stuff and have sites that I frequent a couple times a week.

Kudos to the Kleinmans on the drinkspirits web site. I'll also throw my two cents in here and ask you all to check out the Bureau of Malt Sippers (BUMS) website at www.scotch-tasting-bums.com

We just passed the 1000 visits per month mark on our site and are proud of the variety of pages we have to offer those exploring Scotch tasting.

We invite you to come check out http://www.drinkspirits.com :) We are dedicated to helping explore the world of distilled spirits beyond the things they ordinarily drink. While we do have a fair number of whisk(e)y reviews, we are really focused on presenting the wide spectrum of options. (although of course we LOVE whisky)!
