I’ve now seen three times for the event:
You write 8pm EST (I believe Eastern Standard time?).
The press release just says 8pm ET (Eastern Time? Extra Terrestrial?)
On the webcast site http://www.distillerylive.us.com/ it says 20:00 hrs EDT (I believe Eastern Daylight Time?)
In particular EST and EDT I believe are two different times, an hour different.
In other words, I confused. Very confused. And that’s before trying to convert it to BST.
It’s 8PM here on the east coast of the U.S. I assume that’s 5 hours later on Islay? (1 AM Saturday, BST). I hope that helps to clear things up.
ET is Eastern Time zone and leaves Standard versus Daylight time implied given the date. Since Daylight time ends Nov 1. 2009 in the US, ET or EDT is correct. Hope that helps
