Reed Tue, 06 May 2008 17:40:17 +0000 http://blog.maltadvocate.com/2008/05/05/speyside-visit-update-glenrothes/#comment-745 I talked for awhile with Ronnie at Whiskyfest and commented to him that a new whisky distillery here in Omaha (state law was changed here about a year ago to allow spirit distillation) is having Forsyth build exact replicas of the Glenrothes Stills only half the size and will be using them to produce a range of spirits including aged whisky in bourbon casks. They hope the stills will be completed and shipped to the U.S. late this year with production beginning in 2009 Its pretty exciting.
